Stance has signed a multiyear NFL license covering socks and underwear for all 32 teams. The Marquee Brands-owned manufacturer is the latest company announced as an NFL licensing partner. The announcement disclosed no prices, order volumes, margins, royalty terms or firm launch date.
The first Stance NFL sock release is already available on the brand’s website. The wider rollout is planned for the holiday period.
“The NFL sits at the center of sport, culture and fandom, making this agreement a significant milestone for Stance,” said Rachel Terrace, chief commercial and growth officer of Marquee Brands.
Terrace framed Stance as a bridge between performance and self-expression. She said the agreement could deepen its connection with athletes and fans, expand reach within an engaged sports community and strengthen its position in premium socks and underwear. These are strategic objectives, not reported sales results.
What does the license cover?
Stance’s remit covers all 32 clubs, including the Dallas Cowboys. The announcement does not limit the first release to the Cowboys or identify any team exclusions. It grants rights for two product groups: socks and underwear.
The agreement is multiyear, but its end date and renewal structure remain unstated. It also names no manufacturing sites, production capacity, certification program or payment arrangement.
For sourcing teams, these omissions leave cost, lead-time and compliance planning without a financial baseline. The deal confirms brand access to the league property, not the scale of the supply commitment.
How will Stance manufacture the products?
United Legwear & Apparel Co. produces the licensed collection. The lifestyle socks feature advanced fabrications with strategic compression zones, cushioning and breathable materials.
The underwear styles include Stance’s Butter Blend fabric, Featherseam construction and a Core-Flex waistband. Those details give retailers identifiable specifications when they plan the assortment.
The announcement does not disclose fiber content, testing methods, compliance certifications, unit costs or production lead times. Named features cannot substitute for those commercial and compliance records.
When and where will the collection sell?
The first sock release gives Stance an owned-site channel before the broader rollout. The announcement provides no sales figures, team-level allocations or online inventory levels.
The holiday plan adds an expanded sock selection and the underwear line at NFLshop.com, Fanatics, select sports-specialty retailers, stadium stores and other retailers globally. This represents planned availability rather than confirmed stocking in every named channel, and no exact start date appears for each outlet.
NFL senior vice president of consumer products Casey Collins said the league views the agreement as another way for fans to support their favorite teams. He praised Stance’s connection with different sports fans and said the company would bring that energy to the NFL.
“The Super Bowl alone is watched by over 100 million viewers — nearly a third of the country,” said Isaac Ash, chief executive officer of United Legwear.
Ash also said United Legwear is proud to bring Stance’s craftsmanship and design to what he described as a large, passionate fanbase. The announcement gives no measurement source, time period or methodology for the viewership figure. It should not be treated as a forecast for licensed-product demand.
What remains undisclosed?
For commercial planning, the absent terms matter. No per-item wholesale price, minimum order, margin structure, royalty split, capacity target, delivery schedule or country-by-country retail list appears. The announcement also does not specify separate launch dates for socks and underwear.
Those omissions leave buyers without a basis to compare the license’s economics with other sports properties. They also leave factories without visibility on the volume ramp, timing or allocation of branding costs.
The next checkpoint will be the holiday rollout across NFLshop.com, Fanatics, specialty retailers, stadium stores and global partners; sales data, reorder volumes and renewal terms remain the missing measures of scale.
