Fctry Lab co-founder Omar Bailey has launched Allskns, a standalone youth sports footwear brand whose first product — a $75 modular recovery slide — is available now for pre-sale at Allsknsallday.com and select U.S. retailers.

Bailey founded Fctry Lab in Los Angeles in 2022 and has raised $17 million across several funding rounds. He previously led the Yeezy-Adidas Innovation Lab from 2019 to 2022, where he helped bring the Foam Runner and the 450 to market. His custom footwear client list includes NFL players Jalen Ramsey, Trent Williams and Travon Walker.

What is the product?

The debut model, the Allday Slide, is a rest-and-recovery slide built on a fully modular system. A patented design lets a removable "Skn" insert slot into the top frame; a second Skn sits in the footbed. Each Skn is reversible and symmetrical, so one unit fits either foot. The construction effectively delivers four looks per pair.

The slide uses an EVA foam base (ethylene-vinyl acetate, the molded foam standard in recovery footwear) with an interchangeable EVA insole for double-layer cushioning. Built-in vents add airflow. The launch range covers four base colors — Black, White, Charcoal and Khaki — and each pair ships with one set of Skns. Additional Skn sets presumably drive repeat purchase, though the release specifies neither their price nor the attach rate assumption behind the model.

Who is paying for it?

Allskns is backed by Slauson & Co., Level One and Elysian Park Ventures, plus what Bailey describes as a contingent of independent investors embedded across professional sports, youth culture and fashion. The release does not disclose how much capital Allskns has raised as a standalone entity, or how the funding relates to Fctry Lab's existing $17 million.

The brand debuts with two official partnerships: USA Lacrosse, the sport's national governing body, and CDA Slammers FC, a youth soccer club. Through these, Allskns said it will appear on fields, sidelines and tournament weekends. Digital and social campaigns will feature real student-athletes rather than professional endorsers — a lower-cost marketing posture that matches the youth-sports channel.

What are the founders claiming?

Bailey positions Allskns as the first BIPOC-led sports shoe brand. "I've spent my career building shoes for the biggest names in sports and entertainment. With Allskns, we're building the first BIPOC-led sports shoe brand, made by people who came up the same way these kids are coming up," he said. "The athletes training before school and recovering on the ride home deserve footwear engineered for how they recover, and a brand that lets them be what they want to be."

Co-creator and partner Timothy Nickloff called the modular system "more than just a product," describing it as "an ever-changing personal statement with an unlimited canvas" that "sets us apart from anything else out there." That is marketing language, and it should be read as such; the competitive set in recovery slides is crowded, from Crocs to established sports brands.

What is not said?

The announcement leaves key sourcing and production questions open. The release names no factory, no manufacturing location and no volume commitments — notable for a company whose founding premise at Fctry Lab was domestic, speed-to-market footwear production. It also gives no timeline for delivery of pre-sale orders, no planned retail distribution breadth and no figures on initial production capacity.

The "patented design" claim is stated but the patent number and jurisdiction are not. Whether the four-looks-in-one proposition translates into accessory sales at $75 price sensitivity remains untested until retail data arrives.

The pre-sale is live now. Whether Allskns converts two federation-adjacent partnerships and a modular skintel system into repeat purchases will show in its first full season of sell-through.
