Spec notes

  1. Thomas Crick recorded Rs 11.18 crore in India sales in FY26.
  2. The brand targets revenue above Rs 20 crore in FY27.
  3. Thomas Crick entered the Indian market in October 2023.
  4. First-year revenue stood at Rs 28.10 lakh.
  5. Growth is driven through e-commerce platforms and organised retail.

British-heritage men's footwear brand Thomas Crick recorded sales of Rs 11.18 crore in India in FY26 and is targeting revenue of more than Rs 20 crore in FY27 — a planned increase of nearly 80 percent.

The brand entered the Indian market in October 2023 and has since built its distribution through e-commerce platforms and organised retail. In its entry year, Thomas Crick reported revenue of Rs 28.10 lakh, meaning the FY26 figure represents a roughly fortyfold increase over its first-year base.

What is driving the growth plan?

The company is staking its FY27 target on continued expansion of its distribution network rather than a change in product positioning. Two channels are doing the work:

  • E-commerce platforms, which give the brand national reach without heavy physical retail investment.
  • Organised retail, which anchors the brand's presence in structured, multi-brand environments suited to its British-heritage positioning.

For sourcing and supply-chain professionals, the doubling target raises practical questions. Scaling from Rs 11.18 crore to more than Rs 20 crore implies a corresponding step-up in finished-goods volume, leather sourcing and delivery schedules into Indian retail. The company has not disclosed manufacturing locations, tier structures or vendor arrangements in connection with the target.

Confirmed results versus stated intentions

The FY26 sales figure of Rs 11.18 crore is a reported result. The FY27 target of more than Rs 20 crore is an announced intention, not a booked outcome. Distribution partners and vendors evaluating the brand's growth story should treat the two categories accordingly.

The trajectory so far is steep: from Rs 28.10 lakh in the launch period beginning October 2023 to Rs 11.18 crore by FY26. Whether the next fiscal year delivers the near-doubling will depend on execution across the e-commerce and organised retail channels the brand has identified as its growth engines.

The company has not yet detailed quarterly breakdowns, category-level performance or margin data for FY26, leaving open how much of the FY27 target rests on existing channel run-rate versus new distribution agreements.
